Norske Skog in Golbey/France has ordered an important upgrade of the existing automatic core logistics.
Existing 2 hoppers with one core type each will be replaced with a fully automatic core storage and robot crane for 5 core types.
Existing core cutter will be upgraded to S7 PLC and WinCC-flexible visualization.
Max. cutting length will be extended to 3’100mm.
It will be possible to handle 3” and 6” cores and deliver mixed sets to winders. A core pull-back system and adapted storage design allows economical use of parent cores and rest pieces.
